This will one day be the title of my New York Times Best selling book. When is that day, I am not sure, possibly 2019, but for today it is the title of my blog post that will go viral. [ The universe is always listening, affirm what you want and you will get it].

My life has always been about getting shit done. From walking before the age of 1 yrs old to being a mother of 2, college graduate, and wife at the age of 22.[ p.s I’m currently 22 ]

People are constantly amazed at the things I do and are shocked at the fact that I can even do them in the first place. [ A colleague once told me that by the age of 26, I’ll be Beyonce on a Unicorn, that make me tear up a bit, how can someone see so much magic in me]

Truth be told, I don’t have any secret 12 step formulas or 4 hour productivity routines. I have a specific mindset, on that I just wake up and say “today I am going to get shit done”. I have learned that Getting shit done isn't a science with some magic formula, it is an art. You have three primary colors [limited resources] and you are then tasked with creating the rainbow of your life.

As I begin to develop my personal brand and expand my business, I want to help others to develop a mindset similar to mine where they can see the rainbow of potential in their palette of 3 primary colors. Because its never about what you have, its about what you do with it.

Now about the book. I have been thinking about it for a year now and I finally began to write it in July. Below is what I have so far:

Note from the Author.

Hey Reader,

This note is going to be quick and to the point. Here I am at 1:21am on Saturday, July 15th 2017 FINALLY writing this guide. I started it November 5th 2016, after I held the very first Get Shit Done summit in NYC. I would write bits in a note book, other bits in my phone, more bits on post it notes. Just a shit ton of bits everywhere. No more bits! I have decided it’s time to get in front of the computer and Get This shit done.

First, who the heck am I? My name is Georgie-Ann Getton-Mckoy yes, it’s a mouthful, so most people call me Georgie and I’m totally fine with that. I am currently 22 years old, Baruch College graduate with a B.S in Graphic Communications as of June 2017, mother to Cameron and Bryanna and wife to Bryan, Founder of Illicit Mind Inc, Entrepreneur, Diversity in Tech Enthusiast, speaker and last but not least thee Queen of Getting shit done.

Second, why should you read this book? If you want to develop a doer mindset this is the book you read. I’ve had to step out my comfort zone, push my limits, become super resourceful, and literally reprogram my whole mindset to get where I am today. I want to share that information with you so that you can too. You should read this book if you want to stop wasting time and start Getting Shit Done.

Third, what to expect. Expect the unexpected! That’s what you should expect. Expect a bunch of grammatical errors, whatever Grammarly free version doesn’t pick up will stay. Expect a bunch of shits, fucks, damns and more, I mean you decided to read a book called The Art of Getting Shit Done so I assume “sentence enhancers” won’t offend you. Expect me to be raw and real, I will NOT be sugar coating anything, if you don’t like the truth well wrong book sis.

Fourth, we’ve already wasted enough time. Let’s Get this shit done already!

Ohh I know that totally got you pumped. The book will include many stories of my life and how I have used the Art of Getting Shit Done mentality to constantly create rainbows.

[Quick Insider] Stories include:

  • How I finished high school on time while giving birth in the middle of senior year
  • How I graduated college while again giving birth in the middle of senior year
  • How I got into a startup Accelerator in my Junior year of college
  • Why I got kicked out the first time as a teen
  • What I did when I got kicked out the second time as a young mom.
  • How I created a 100+ person summit with less that $1k
  • How my food for my first ever event was bought with a foodstamps card
  • How I quit my full time job at 19 while being a single mom
  • How I got a fully free ride to college

And that’s just the beginning. While I work on the book I will periodically release insiders from it, until the follow me on Medium and Facebook to see how I Get Shit Done.
